Reading the receiving organisation’s document instructions
Keep the recipient’s instructions together so the document, language and format can be reviewed as one request.
Keep the exact wording
Save the email, form or checklist that explains what the receiving organisation requests. Include the document name and any instructions about certification or translation. The original wording makes the review more precise.
Identify the requested format and language
Look for references to an original, certified copy or electronic document, together with the language requested. If a term is unclear, keep it in your enquiry rather than replacing it with a different expression.
Bring the details into one enquiry
Send the instructions together with the issuing country, destination and document type. We review them as a whole and explain the proposed steps, timing and total cost. If a point needs clarification with the recipient, we identify it before the process is agreed.
